Climate

The climate for the Temple of Poseidon has a Mediterranean sclerophyll shrub biome. It has hot and dry summers and stormy winters. The average temperature in the month of May in Athens ( I couldn't get actual temps for Sounion) is about 77 degrees. Having both dry and moist season there is an average of 1.25 inches of precipitation. The dry climate comes from the subtropical high pressure zone, which is the fall, summer, and spring months. The winter months is because of the polar front and the mid-latitude cyclone storms. The subtropical high pressure zone is an area of high pressure that starts at about 30 degrees north and south latitude. The mid-latitude cyclone storms are storm that forms mostly in the middle latitudes. Its formation is triggered by troughs forming in the polar jet stream.
